Thunder & Lightning In Bedroom

On or about March 14, 2007 I was awakened by a strong flash of light that came from within the bedroom. I rolled out of bed, thinking that perhaps something was wrong electrically, and turned on the hallway light. I then checked the stereo, outlets, light switch, electric blanket, table lamp and dresser lamp in the bedroom. All was perfectly normal and I felt perfectly secure going back to bed, which I did. Within moments, another flash ... and thunder.
This was in the bedroom and not coming in from outside. I thought perhaps someone from the OT was trying to get my attention so I stilled myself and asked if anyone was present who wanted or needed to communicate with me. I waited a couple minutes and nothing; tried again and still nothing. And also, the whole time no sense of any spirit present - none of any kind (and I'm very sensitive). So I went back to bed.
That's it. Nothing else. Nothing spectacular. Usually when some strange phenomena happens I understand it right away, or at least within a day or two of the occurrance. This time, however, that has not happened.
The few people who have given me thoughts / opinions on this - well, inside I just "know" their ideas are not what it was. Not an energy clearing, not a bad entity being blasted out, not my own energy 'exploding'. It was not an it event, I am sure. I believe it was more of a messge in some symbolic form (err ... symbolic with a literal manifestation of sorts). And I don't want to miss the message because it is so very important for me. Again, just something I "know".
I'm not concerned or worried or anything so am not pressed for any immediate answers / possible answers. I simply have an inquiring mind and want to know ... and believe I need to know. So any thoughts would be appreciated.
I forgot to add that even my dog was arosed by these events so I know it wasn't just me. lol
