When The Angels Came
Submitted by Member: angelswings
On the A947,
Three Angels came that night
To take our children from us,
And take them to the light.
But Johnny, he was hanging on,
He didn't want to go,
He wanted to stay with Emma,
Because he loved her so.
Stuart had already gone,
He didn't stand a chance,
The steering wheel crushed his chest,
And the damage, it was done.
So the Angles said to Johnny,
"Please will you come with us?"
"You will see your Emma again,
But she is in no rush".
"God is short of Angels,
You know He needs some more,
Please come with us Johnny,
And we'll take you to Heavens door".
And so he had to go with them,
They wouldn't let him stay,
I will always love you Emma,
For ever and a day.
Emma went to hospital,
They fought to bring her back,
But without her beloved Johnny,
Her willpower she did lack.
We went to say goodbye to her,
A tear fell from her eye,
We said, "We love you Emma,
But now it's time to die".
He reached down to her from Heaven,
And took her by the hand,
He took her to the bright white light,
And to the promised land.
We know they are together,
And will be for evermore,
And we will see them once again,
When we knock on Heavens door.
In remembrance of Emma and Johnny
